Margaux L. Karagosian joined the Laird Norton Company Board of Directors in July 2014.  She has served on the Audit, Governance, and Nominating Committees and has been the Audit Committee Chair since July 2018.  Margaux is a CPA with a Masters degree in Accountancy from Wake Forest University. Margaux previously worked in investment banking at Bank of America and Wells Fargo in securitization, most recently managing a portfolio of $7.5 billion securitization loans. She was also the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte.

In addition to current board service, Margaux has been actively engaged with the Laird Norton Company her whole life including attending annual family summits, serving as an associate director of Lanoga and Winona Capital Management, being a member of a Long-Range Planning Committee and Multi-Generational Task Force, and chairing an Ownership Study Group. Margaux lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband and two sons where she enjoys playing tennis and golf and spends countless hours driving her boys to and from youth hockey and baseball practices, games, and tournaments.
