Deva Hasson, President, joined Laird Norton Properties in 2023 bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in corporate and real estate strategic planning, investment, and real estate development. As President, Deva is responsible for overseeing the investment, development, and strategy for Laird Norton Properties.

Prior to joining Laird Norton Properties, Deva was a Principal and Investment Director for Heartland LLC, a Laird Norton Company investment. At Heartland, Deva focused on both public and private advisory work, with a particular emphasis on capitalization strategy and implementation. She also led Heartland’s investment opportunities.

Deva received her MBA, Honors degree with a concentration in Real Estate and Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts, Highest Distinction, in History and Urban Planning from the University of California, Berkeley. Deva previously served as the Immediate Past Chair of the Bellwether Housing Board of Directors and currently serves on the Samis Foundation Board of Trustees. She is an alumnus of Leadership Tomorrow and has been a long-term volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, having completed four global village builds around the world.
